Oluwakemi Mary Ajayi (born December 7, 1992) popularly known as Khemmie is a Nigerian born Singer, Songwriter, Performer and Dancer.
Born and raised in her hometown Kwara State into a family of four. She honed her skills at an early age, singing in the church choir. Khemmie is a graduate of mass communication from the Federal Polythenic, offa Kwara state, Nigeria. Khemmie performed as a contestant at the fifth edition (2012) of MTN Project Fame West Africa.
Khemmie relates and interprets love, friendship, life, trust and betrayal in her songs. She adduces the likes of Jennifer Hudson, Waje and Omawunmi as artistes who influenced her style of music.
To further showcase her talent she auditioned for The Voice Nigeria (season 1) where she amazed the judges with her version of Tiwa Savage’s hit single ‘OLORUN MII”.
Khemmie’s musical career is currently been managed by an international management company – SEENAFRICA.
Her first hit single ‘Tiff My Man’ was released in 2016,the prolific song-writer released her latest single with a music video titled ‘GBERA’ under the management company.
